Carrie Schreiner with Mercedes AMG GT3 debut on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife

After the extremely successful 24-hour race a few weeks ago with the "Girls Only Team" by WS Racing in the BMW M4 GT4, which the all-female team finished second best out of 28 (!) BMWs that had started, the 23-year-old is changing, as announced, to the fastest category of the series of the extremely popular Nürburgring Endurance Series for the remaining races.

On what is undoubtedly the most beautiful and difficult race track in the world, the woman from the Saarland is going to compete with the very experienced ex-DTM and WTTC factory driver Peter Terting in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and will probably drive all the races as a duo.

Her Mercedes team " Schnitzelalm Racing" had to rebuild the Mercedes-AMG GT3 completely after a violent crash at the 24h race. The team around Thomas Angerer and Günter Aberer has done a great job afterwards and the car is already ready to race again in their workshop in Niederzissen.

Thus, Carrie Schreiner is also full of anticipation for the new challenge: "First of all, many thanks again to Thorsten Willems, team manager of WS Racing, for this unique project, which will hopefully be continued next year."

And further: "For a long time it has always been my wish to drive a GT3 on the Nordschleife. Now it's coming true! At the first event, the focus is certainly on the learning effect for me. I want to improve more and more in the course of the season in order to achieve my ambitious goals. Once again, many thanks to Peter Terting and our partners and sponsors who have made all this possible," says the fast racing amazon.
