Carrie Schreiner starts again at the 24h race on the Nürburgring

After a year's break due to a clash of dates with the F1 Academy, the 25-year-old from the Saarland will be back at one of the most legendary races in motorsport.

Naturally, she will be competing in the "Girls only Team by WS Racing and Giti Tyres" of her long-time supporter Thorsten Willems. Once again, the proven BMW M4 GT4 will be her race car. The goal of the all-female team is to win the class, which they already achieved in 2021, at that time in the Audi R8 LMS GT4.

Carrie is really looking forward to the mega event: "The Nürburgring Nordschleife is one of the biggest challenges in motorsport. Undoubtedly the most difficult race track in the world! I'm looking forward to competing with the girls in front of more than 200,000 spectators again. Before that, I'll be doing NLS 1 + 2 as preparatory race on the Nordschleife.

Many thanks to Sauber for giving me the permission to take part in this event, because the F1 Academy has absolute priority for me this year! Of course, thanks also to Thorsten Willems, who has been making this project possible for years already. I hope that we can fight for the class victory again," says Carrie Schreiner, who was already able to "scratch" at the magic 8-minute barrier of the NLS series on her favourite track in the GT3 in 2022.
